I grew up in Brampton and attended the University of Western Ontario in London Ontario, where I received my Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws degrees. I joined Acri, MacPherson in February of 1991 after my call to the Bar. Since then I have practiced primarily family law and real estate law. I also provide assistance in wills and estates, personal injury litigation, criminal matters and step-parent and relative adoptions.
I am certified as a family law mediator, and as such have helped numerous people resolve their problems quickly and in a mutually beneficial way.
I serve as a deputy judge of the Small Claims Court on a regular basis, where I adjudicate on all different types of legal matters.
I am also actively involved in a number of community services. I am Past President of the Peel Law Association, an organization that represents the interests of lawyers in Peel Region. I am the Central West Regional Representative for the County and District Law Presidents Association, which is made up of all of the law associations in the province. I am a Director of Kerry’s Place Autism Services. I have also given a number of information seminars on interesting topics to the public in association with the Peel Regional Police, and regularly participate in fund-raising activities for the local hospital and Salvation Army.
Please feel free to contact me so that I might assist you with your legal matters.
